WHAT IS TRANZENDFILMS?

tran·scend : be or go beyond the range or limits of (something abstract, typically a conceptual field or division).

zen : a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind.

Deciding a brand name was really tough and nowadays many videographers stick to their own name as their video brand. I decided to take the unconventional route to stand for something bigger than myself. I wanted something meaningful, and not just another name brand that sounded cool or didn't have a meaning behind it. After many attempts of brainstorming, I was able to piece out different words to create the *aha* moment of my brand. My last name Tran with the combination of transcend and zen. The brand TranzendFilms is an idea and a state of being that embodies the principals of transcending and being in zen, in which to inspire, enjoy, and create beautiful visual media for the people. It's not just a video company, but an individual who wants to inspire and help others embody the principals of zen and transcendence. It seems that a big portion of people are operating in a state of fear, living a life that doesn't align with their goals and dreams. To be able to influence and help others transcend their fears into taking ownership of their lives is the best thing that I can be of service for and ultimately do. 

Biography:

My name is Jerry Tran and I am a Freelance Videographer. I specialize in cinematic wedding films and creative videos. I work with individuals who are looking for video services within the business or personal realm. My goal is to provide you, of course a creative and beautifully made video, the best experience from the start of our conversation to the end product when it is delivered. I take pride in transparency and integrity when communicating the process of creating a video. Building trust and being personable is the foundation of giving you the ultimate experience from service to product. BACKGROUND HISTORY: It all started when... I was 16 years old.

When YouTube had released, it was the biggest platform where people can search and watch random videos of your liking. Just like any kid during that time,  I stumbled upon watching tons of videos from comedic skits to action adventure to special effects. What really struck to me was the quality of videos people were releasing. When the new 1080p HD button existed, there was something about the crisp, clear quality that made me really want to get a camera. So then I began recording for fun on my cool little Sony Xperia smart phone. I started combining clips and made basic compilation videos. Soon enough my self interest of wanting to get better at video editing became stronger. The focus and tunnel vision I had when I edited videos was unparalleled to anything I have done in my life. I would spend hours with no rest or break trying to finish a project. The passion I had for being able to create something and seeing the end result gave me excitement, adrenaline, and a sense of accomplishment. Once I got my first camera, it all became history.
